From a concerned member of what's up paws, naisipan kong i post dahil malaking tulong kung malalaman at maaksyunan ng kinauukulan yung sitwasyon ng ibon, pati na rin yung info on how to report an animal abuse na reply ng paws:
hi, good day to everyone. im fron san andres bukid manila and I pass
by quirino hiway everyday going to R. Papa and I noticed a bird caged
in a small space attached to a tree which makes it hard for the parrot
to stretch it's wings or even walk around. Im not sure if it's an owl
a parrot or an eagle but it's big. It's located at former designers
depot at quirno hiway (sa may entrance near jolibee and chowking)im
sure it's been very long since it has stretched its wings, nakakaawa
talaga. masikip na yung cage nya sobrang mausok pa dahil along the
highway. I've tried asking the caretakers of the place but they dont
seem to care. what can we do about it? nakakalunkot talaga.

REPLY FROM PAWS:
Hi Macky,
We've already reported to DENR-NCR and this is already lined up in their
scheduled inspection but they say they can act faster if they call up the
barangay so please ask for the contact information of the nearest barangay.
For cruelty reports, please include - as much as possible - the following:
1. Name of Owner of Animal or the Establishment (where the animal is)
2. Exact Address/Location
3. Contact info of nearest barangay
4. Contact details of #1
5. Time and date when cruelty was observed, people spoken to / other witnesses.
6. Your contact information (the one reporting cruelty)
7. Photo of the animal (taken from mobile phone or digicam) - if any
Please help get the contact info of the barangay and email it to us at
philpaws@...
Thank you.
