Save a Life, Foster Today

THEY NEED YOUR HELP

http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/7358/img4417j.jpg

It's kitten season. That time of the year when people keep seeing kittens dumped on the streets and end up bringing them to the shelter, thinking that it is the best thing they can do to help.

But the shelter is straining from the sheer number of cats and kittens that it currently cares for. With the number at 165 and averaging 5 intakes a day, PAWS is asking for rescuers' help to foster the kittens.

We offer to give kitten milk and a dropper, including a set of instructions on how to care for the babies until they are at least 6months old and ready for neutering.

We have five (5) volunteers currently fostering kitties for us but we need more.

If you would like to help, kindly drop by the shelter (http://parc.mefindhome.org) between the hours of 2 to 6pm, Mondays to Saturdays and ask us about fostering.

Fostering [noun, verb] - temporarily taking care of a very young animal, usually an unweaned puppy or kitten ; a very important and compassionate form of volunteer work for the PAWS shelter.

Thank you.
