auntie annes:vegan?

Chances are great that your mall has a Johnny Rockets, Ruby Tuesday, Chili’s, or Bennigan’s somewhere on the premises, so you can always pop in there to grab a bite—even if it sometimes means having to trek across the parking lot. Some of you may even be lucky enough to have a Subway, Arby’s, or Baskin-Robbins inside the mall, and that makes it even easier to run in and get at least a little something to munch on to tide you over. If not, we can pretty much guarantee that you can grab a vegan snack at one of the places in the food court.

The butter on movie theater popcorn is generally vegan, as it's simply oil with no dairy juices. Simply open your mouth and ask what the butter is made from: cows or plants … and enjoy if it's the latter!

Auntie Anne's is hot! Except for the Sour Cream & Onion Pretzel and the Parmesan Herb Pretzel, her pretzels are animal-free—just ask for "no butter." Wanna take a dip? Stick with plain mustard or marinara sauce.

Pretzel Time pretzels are totally vegan, too. Just say, "Hold the slime" (the butter they brush on), and you'll get the freshest, hottest order—worth the wait.

And remember, several of the aforementioned restaurants (listed in "Fast & Cheap" and "Move for a Booth") probably occupy your food court. You won't ever wisp away at the mall. Vegan food is there.
