why adopt? why spay and neuteur your dogs and cats?

At present there are no statistics on the population of stray cats and dogs in the Philippines, or for that matter, the Metropolitan Manila area. But, consider this.

Assume one breeding pair of dogs, and that none of the offspring are spayed or neutered. The dogs breed once yearly, with an average of 4 puppies. Half of the offspring are female.
